EXCLUSIVE: British porn star Tanya Tate has given her honest insight into how she combines her saucy career in the sex industry with motherhood and raising her son
One of the world’s most famous porn stars juggles her raunchy career with being a mother.
Scouser Tanya Tate recently starred in her first boy-girl scene in almost a decade and is back filming the type of blue movies that helped her become 12-time International MILF of the Year.
But when she is not making erotic content, her time is dedicated to raising her son, who will soon turn five.
And Tanya, 43, gave a candid interview with the Daily Star about juggling motherhood with porn.
Speaking over a video call from the States, Tanya said: “It’s challenging being a working mum and to be a working mum in my career is all about balance, coordination and scheduling.
“My son now goes to school five days a week and that means those times he is in school I can get things done like interviews, record a podcast and if I need to shoot content I can.
“Days when I do shoot content with someone else we will either go to their house or we rent a location. People don’t come to my house to do that.
“When I do a shoot my boy isn’t in the house.”
But Tayna, who also makes money on OnlyFans and Sex Panther, laughed: “There are times when he is in the house and something is suddenly going to happen and I will be like, ‘hey do you want to go to the park or supermarket’?
“I do have somebody that helps look after him with work so I can ask can they take him here and he has after school activities he goes to.”
Tanya – thanks to her decision to quit her office job for the sex industry in 2008 – is now able to give her boy an upbringing that is a big contrast to how her own looked in Liverpool where she lived off milk tokens and free school meals.
In a previous interview, she explained how she wanted to wait to have children until she was financially stable.
And like most porn stars who have kids, she has been asked by fans how she will one day tell her child about her kinky career.
Responding, Tanya said: “It’s a good thing for me that I know a lot of other parents within the industry.
“I just interviewed Mrs. Robinson on my Skinfluencer Success podcast and she has a daughter in her 20s and a teenager and she started an OnlyFans aged 50.
“She talked about sitting down with the teenager and he was like ‘go with it mum’. We spoke about that because at some point I will be at that stage.
“She said to me just be open and honest with my child. She said they always had that relationship where they are open and honest but at the same time being age appropriate.
“The fans ask me and I just say ‘mind your own business’ because I won’t get in a discussion with a random fan who will also have an opinion.”
But providing an insight, Tanya added: “I do know at some point I will have to address it. When the time comes that feels right I will address it in a positive way.
“I will teach my child to take people for what they are. He is four and I teach him that person to person we are equal. A lot of people have biases in their mind.
“I am a woman in my 40s and we are in a different generation now that knows we need to be kind to each other. That’s what I want to teach my child, if someone is mean to you they are either not educated on it or they are just unhappy themselves.
“When the time comes we will have an age appropriate discussion and I will be a supportive mum. It will happen, it’s just a matter of when.”
Tanya had her son through IVF and she recently disclosed how trolls labelled her fat, old and ugly after her labour.
But the gorgeous model is back in front of the camera and the only thing that has changed is managing her time.
Expanding on her earlier point, she added: “My son is very energetic and he has a tonne of energy.
“He makes a lot of noise and sometimes you just can’t work. I will be doing emails and sometimes I will have to go in the bedroom and put on white noise on Alexa so I can just do some emails and concentrate when he’s thinking he’s Spider-Man and jumping on and off the couch onto bean bags.
