A technology brand from China, Oppo is partnering with a Swedish camera manufacturer, Hasselblad, in the next three years to develop capable camera technology and will be embedded in Oppo's flagship series, the Oppo Find series.
The technology called "Mobile Imaging" will maximize and enhance the user experience in terms of mobile photography.
Previously, Hasselblad has also collaborated with OnePlus, which is also part of Oppo, by presenting this new collaboration, the two mutually strengthen strategic cooperation with global market targets.
"Following the successful collaboration of OnePlus and Hasselblad last year, we have mutually agreed to take this partnership to the next level. This is done in order to bring the legendary Hasselblad mobile imaging experience to more users around the world. Color performance in cameras is a focus main product OPPO and Hasselblad. We are very enthusiastic to develop the Hasselblad Camera for Mobile together, "said Oppo's Chief Product Officer Pete Lau in a statement on Saturday.
In this collaboration, Oppo and Hasselblad will build the best imaging system capable of delivering a world-class mobile photography experience, which has been Oppo's strategy in the global mobile phone industry.
After the launch of the MariSilicon X NPU as Oppo's first self-developed imaging technology, Oppo is increasingly confident that it can create a world-class photography experience through collaboration with Hasselblad.
Technologies developed include advanced imaging solutions through research and development collaborations aimed at delivering more natural color displays and outstanding imaging experiences.
By leveraging the "Natural Color Calibration" technology with Hasselblad, Oppo is also working to bring technology that allows the camera to capture skin tones precisely when shooting.
