A family member was involved in local darts leagues and became involved in the committee at the Cycle Club. Which meant, as Marie wrote: “We also became part of the furniture.
“We’d be there every Saturday night without fail. I’d pick out my best outfit and as a treat would sometimes be able to bring a friend.................
