Dustin Poirier Intentions To Retire After Competing With Charles Oliveira
Former UFC fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov has asked Dustin Poirier to reconsider his decision to retire as a mixed martial arts (MMA) athlete.
Because Khabib considered Poirier's decision too hasty because he decided to retire after being defeated by Charles Oliveira at UFC 269. Dustin was defeated by Oliveira at the T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, on December 12, 2021 ago.
In the lightweight fight, Dustin had to acknowledge Oliveira's prowess after being defeated by submission in the third round via rear naked choke.
Dustin has also lost twice in the battle for the UFC title belt. Previously, the wrestler from the United States was defeated by Khabib in 2019.
